Sharing art with others is an integral part of teaching artist, Jackie Myers’s life. Finding vintage paper for her collages is part of the artistic journey. Weaving found paper into collages is her nod to the past. Combining ironic ideas, mass production ideology, and humor into artworks is what she loves. Nostalgia holds a big part of Jackie’s subject matter. Her Favorite subject matters are buffalo, Ring Pops, and sassy country toads.

Jackie holds a bachelor’s Degree in Art History and has taught formal and informal art classes in public schools across Oklahoma for over twelve years.
